This image is gorgeous Harlan!! The yellow man on the right waiting beside the turquoise lake, has seen the animal of prey (possibly an elephant) and will go hunting... and I love the cute little aeroplane above their heads. I'm in some kind of strange and beautiful jungle in the Amazon... you wanna hear more? I don't want to bore you 
Your images do those kinds of things to my imagination, and it's a lot of fun!!

I realize that the mid-range of the tones is purposeful, but it does blunt the effect of the color and texture slightly.

On the top of the image, I can see a brown runaway and a plane that's about to land,
(maybe it is flying peope to the holiday resort with the beautiful green lake)
Such a wonderful abstract, Harlan! I like the moderate use of saturation, the colours are more natural. I wonder if you didn't crop the blueish line on the bottom on purpose.
