I think maybe lose the stars... to me, they are a bit distracting...

Well done Debbie. You are also getting excellent on presentations.

Thank you for your comments. Peter, about the star glints..I suppose I could subtract a few of them:) I kinda liked them. I just thought it might add a little extra to show just how much ice we had a couple of weeks ago. Thank you Toni, about the presentation comment. I hadn't really thought about it but now I will:)

Thanks for all your comments. Hi to you too Brendon:) I always love having feedback on my photos. This photo was taken with a new lens I just purchased and since there are no flowers at this time of year I just had to try my hand with the new lens and this is the item I picked to use for my first adventure with the 'macro'. I had the camera on a tripod..there was just a tad bit of wind..causing the bit o' softness to the upper right corner..I think? Or maybe the more shallow DOF that I used for this kind of picture..in that I usually use f/22. Any comments as to better my ability to use a macro lens is always welcomed. Again thanks for your feedback and comments.
Debbie
