They have such dignity, don't they? ....with their long necks and the way they hold their heads. Great composition :) and I love the reflection. It seems the bright lighting makes him not as sharp as he could be. But that's just me trying to sound technical!

Nice image, John. Too bad the area its standing on is so unattractive.
One of the people mentioned how dignified they look. If you have a chance, check my portfolio for the image of the heron on ice.

I like the picture. The bird is in its place.I think it would be dificulkt to convince him to change to a five star fancy resort. The photographer have some liberty to invent , but , IMO ,there are limits. If you or any critic think it would be nice to put the bird ,in Vaticano, over mr.Pope, you could do it, but.... Your opinion on my Santiago lovers is quite accceptable.I could work on the DOP , but not always I have time to think in everything ,it is easier to concentrate on the subject and the right momment and not in those details, even important. In other times I blur(Gaussiene blur) the background at home, but this is too much trouble. But you are right and that?s the point. You are right and as it is your use,you made your point in a correct way.Thanks. Regards jorge
