This absolutely unique subject looks good with a vertical approach too
but IMO the horizontal one is more impressing in it's journalistic character-

Wow, you have been busy whilst I've been away, so many uploads. It will take me some time to work my way through these.
Of the two shote I like this one the most, its simple and clear. The main focus is the sign, but the door just beckons the eye to walk on in. Very well composed.
I'll have to look through the others later, too much work to do at the moment.

Though I cant understand a word in Japanese, I liked your shot. It shows a lot about a Japanese street. I like such live-from-life shots. Congrats. (BTW, my brother is now in Japan for a few weeks, he might be seing such signs.)

Vinay, this is really fairly untypical of modern Japan. The guy who owns the house is a real eccentric who festoons it with signs he has made. They are very funny (if you read Japanese!). I hope your brother has fun in Japan. It's getting a little warmer these days, and spring is just around the corner. A beautiful time of year. If he also is a photographer he will enjoy himself.
