Bradley, lovely shot here. I assume this is the north rim of that big hole out in Arizona? My wife and I will be there in late May and I hope to take several rolls of Fuji slide film and fill up a digital CF card around this location. We were at the south rim this July but it was on a tour bus and got there at mid-day. Not good a good time for shooting photos of the canyon. The only good shot I got was of the canyon mules in their corral.
Regards,
Jimmy

Jimmy, this is about 1/4 of the way down the North Rim (half way to Cottonwood - a rest area). We hiked down the North Kaibob Trail; stayed at Phantom Ranch at the bottom (117 degrees F, in the shade, 139F in the sun!!). Hiked up Bright Angel Trail to the top of the South Rim. Had a TREMENDOUS week, and would be glad to share any part of the experience with you (questions, logistics, etc.) if you want to email me pruehair@comcast.net.

Brad, you're giving away all the secrets!!! Because of the distances involved and the lack of facilities, the North Rim is almost pristine features. You seem to be discovering them. Keep up the good work.
