About CONGIUNZIONE AL TRAMONTO?
------- CONJUNCTION TO THE SUNSET? This photograph I did it the evening of Xmas 2003 to the h. 17,00, in an of those evenings where, how fascinated of astronomy, I look at the sky and I enjoy me the show? is it ?conjunction disregards? between Venus and the Moon understanding for ?conjunction? l?alignment ?visual? of the moon either a planet with one or plus planets? what it is checked is a ?pertaining to perspective sight? not a real alignment of the celestial bodies that a lot of millions of kilometers are at a distance? beh.. to part thisTHAT ITPLEASES IT IS ME THE SHOW? OF TWO THAT CHASE THEMSELVES FROM THE SUNSET UNTIL AT THE DISAPPEARED SOME LIGHT. IN A BLACK SKY. ANDROAD TO CHASE ITSELF FOR ALL THE NIGHT!

Bellissima foto. Ottima la luce.
Un caro abbraccio!

Beautiful Roberto well done.

By remarkable coincidence, I took the same picture on the same night in the southern hemisphere and like you, I exposed for the 'Earth Shine' on the darker side of the moon.

At first this looked like an eclipse, but I understand now. It is amazing how bright the moon is. Astronomical alignments are just this - the distance between the objects matter not at all.

Robert Walls   {K:1728} 2/10/2004
Robetro, you are too kind but thankyou. I knew I need about 1 second at f4 with 400iso for the moon so set this on manual and waited until the sky matched which was around 20:30h!

I'm in Australia.
Rob

Roger Cotgreave   {K:15892} 2/11/2004
appealing to the emotions as well as the eye roby...well done, roger

Alexey Sapa   {K:27168} 2/12/2004

John Hatziemmanouil   {K:40580} 2/14/2004
Good shot. Good progres. Hehe...not only you. I'm also fascinated from astronomy. Somehow I am impresed from the result of the pretty fast shutter speed....the big star 'Venus' looks pretty big for this exposure! Good my friend! Good to have the clear sky to catch this nice moment!

Taras R. Hnatyshyn   {K:3794} 4/23/2004
Roberto,

Excellent composition.

Taras
