I took this shot from approximately 250 yards away on full telephoto, using my 2x digital zoom, with my new raynox DCR-1540-PRO 1.54 Tele-converter lens [no tripod] thanks for all the lovely comments, as always they certainly inspire me to do better and more meaningful work!...jon

Hey, Jon, thanks for the lead to this photo. I can see your 1.54 Raynox does a fine job. Is the darking in the upper corners from vignetting by using the converter? If my 2x does this well, I'll be happy. I can live with some vignetting. I am mainly interested in wildlife close-ups, so can crop out any vignetting.
