Beautiful picture. I find the shadow on the water distracting but mostly a good image.

Tyler Russell   {K:1148} 2/11/2004
Very good.

An excellent balance, beautifully framed. Great sky.
Thanks for your comments on my photos. If you had that view out my window, you couldn't wear your shorts out to fetch the newspaper like you can in sunny SD.

Regards,
Richard Dean

Nice shot, good mood and beautiful colors. Have you tried to crop away the rocjks in front? I do not think they contribute much to the whole and they are under exposed imo. Regards Jorg

It may have been destruction but look at the beauty in it, captured by you. Excellent wide angle view, wonderful light and colors. Living in Dallas, I don't get to enjoy winter like this. Makes me homesick for Denver.

The proportions of the frame seem well suited to the subject. It is a sweeping and impressive view with bands of color and white alternating. Perhaps it lacks a strong subject, but maybe you didn't happen to have a red rowboat with you at the time.

yes, fire's aftermath, but nature always rebuilds what it destroys. being able to stand up on top of a car or something would help alleviate the problem of those seemingly underexposed rocks in the foreground.... by getting them out of the way entirely.

good work lori ~ james
