About The colours in the Lake District in the autumn of 2003 were stunning and I was lucky to catch Blea Tarn in a moment of relative stillness.

Barry, what a lovely picture with gorgeous well saturated colors and yes you were fortunate to get Blea Tarn in those conditions.
Incidentally are you related to that well known charming lady of the same surname who used to grace our shores.

Good photo. I can see it on a book cover or calendar...

Beautiful landscape, Barry. The colors are very cool, and the reflection is superb. Very sharp also.

Good job.

Regards

really nice Barry - love the brown/tan tones on the distant hill. I find Usefilm to be a good barometer for shots like this - its well viewed, well commented and well rated. Plus its shot vertically which suits the format of the magazine. This will do well.

I was having a hard time deciding which of two images to send in so I used that barometer effect to help. http://www.usefilm.com/image/958593.html but the hunch was always with the mushroom!

Best of luck with your shot Bar.
