About I've taken this same village (famous as being the best kept in England) with the Fuji TX-1 panorama camera too. There's not that much difference in image quality...

great angle of view, perfect for the scene, lovely colours - I have always been intrigued by this camera - for some reason I never seem to remember when out shooting that my Canon G2 has a panorama mode - I will tie a string around a finger inside my winter glove. regards, Bill

geez rog these shot must look beautiful big...what a village so perfect, why can't we build like that now? What is the rush we all seem to get caught in...a fine pic rog

A wonderful and peaceful scenic Roger-- perhaps just a little over sharpened?-- I've been doing the same thing with my photos lately for some reason, but I sure like the subject and composition.
Cheers. Craig

Gorgeous shot of a beautiful place! I gotta go there!
Wonderful textures, Roger, with all the detail faithfully captured.
Kind regards,
Chris

Hey Roger, Certianly a terrific image and again a good eye for the Pan. I'm only struggling with the bright sky in the top right. I'm wondering if you could have taken a slightly different position and then point the cameara down just a bit to eliminate the sky? While the overcast light is great for the buildings, in my opinion it takes the eye right to that brightness which is not what you want.

What a neat place, british light ! Perfectly framed for the format, great lens too, a keeper !

Hi Roger! Attracted to this one as I have taken quite a few of this little village - it looks as if we had the same weather - not too bright! I used to take mostly black and white so most of mine taken here are in that mode - now I mostly take digital colour as I enjoy manipulating them on the computer. Glad you liked the Welsh shot - actually I'm not Welsh - we were up there on holiday. I live in the Cotswolds near Cheltenham - home of the National Hunt Festival, so not actually that far from Cardiff. Tokyo sounds much more interesting and I am sure your weather is better than ours. I like your panoramas - I have been experimenting with taking several shots and stitching them together with some small success but I think you need an A3 printer to print out good panoramic shots and I only have an A4. Good shooting, Regards, Sylvia
