Very nice shot Jim, great action with good colour and detail. I have yet to capture a gull with such clarity while you and so many others can.

Nothing to improve, Jim... it's perfect! Perfect quality, perfect timing and wonderful bird! Of course, some sunlight and/or low ISO could make the colours more colourful, but I think it's great enough to be perfect!

Lorinda Millar   {K:2580} 2/21/2004
Great shot, Jim! I'm always trying to catch birds in flight too, but haven't been able to achieve the clarity you've captured here. I might try 400 ISO like you've used here, I always worry that it'd be too grainy, but this is great!

What a great capture Jim! I know how hard it is to capture birds while they are flying... you must have some luck too and click on the right moment. I like this one a lot! Greetings,
Diana.

Dan Lightner   {K:12684} 3/18/2004
Great shot Jim
The only thing I can suggest is try to get a little more light on the gull , sun too your back. This exposure is fine , but it might be better with a little more highlights. I Feed them, to bring them in, then use a fast lens. You need a lens that focuses quickly cause as you know these suckers are in and out of focus pretty fast.

very good one!
