Beautiful macro!! Great detail, and color, and you're
probably correct about that beak. I new a fella a few years
ago that lost about a third of his index finger for that reason.
They are very interesting birds though. Good work!!!

Great capture Kris with perfect focus and great colours. Your right about the beak, I fed some nuts to one of these once and it accidently nipped my finger with the very tip of the beak. It bled quite badly afterwards as the beak is like a pair of seceters (used for pruning roses).
