Hi Emgy,Amazing abstract and equally amazing colours,I must start taking notice of old ladders!have been playing about with rust and that is fun.
Thanks for your recent comments it was one of those chance shots I took while out walking
cant see all that good in certain light so the compo was pretty much a guess,cropping off the bottom was all I did other than a little sharpen so have been pleased with the response.

The bottom seems calm and pacific while the top is a swirl of shapes in motion. I have the sense of a hurricane breaking on a serene tropical island. Interesting dynamic. Good one, Emgy!! Painted aluminum is unique in its reflective qualities...isn't it? When that Sony wears out you should have it gold plated....along with the ladder. :)

Emgy: non ho messo una cornice per non distrarre dal soggetto e per dare tutto lo spazio possibile alla foto e ai suoi particolari, comunque bella la tua aggiunta
Il cielo era nuvoloso, bianco e piatto. sono riuscita (secondo me) a fare anche troppo visto che la luce era scarsissima (sembrava di essere all'imbrunire)!
Per rispondere invece ad Antonio Trincone, la mia macchinetta fotografica non ha molte opzioni, il massimo che ho potuto fare è stato aspettare per scattare.. che il cavaliere avesse alle spalle la cattedrale. Giuro non potevo fare di più. Quello che non ho ancora detto, è che dove passavano i cavalieri di rientro era infestato di fotoreporter e oltre a fare attenzione allo sfondo e alla distanza dovevo fare attenzione anche a evitare le loro teste. Veniteci l'anno prossimo e chissà che non riusciate da fare di meglio ahahhahah. Lo spero! così imparo qualcosa di più ;o
