great composition.

Kristina Kohut   {K:49990} 2/20/2004
Such lovely capture! The colours are wonderful and so nice with the environment around the beautiful butterfly! Very nice mix of colours! How about a tighter crop and "cut" half sky off on top, and a little bit on left side? All the lovely colours in background would still stay, but the butterfly wouldn't be so center placed. Just an idea, but I find it wonderful as it is now too!

Brian Kinney   {K:1208} 2/20/2004
Well, could have done that...but I think it leaves a nice empty space for the viewer to get the notion that it was at a vast open area. If I start cropping...it makes the picture small...more compact, I mean yes...It would look great if I had something to crop out..but I think it's fine the way it is...but thanks Kristina!

Beautiful scene. Great DOF. I love the colors with the blue
of the sky against the darker colors. Great shot!

Very nice, sometimes it is hard to catch a picture of a butterfly.
