Very well composed Hugo!
Great difference in colors between desert and smoke in the air which is lightned by sun and that makes it very powerfull! it actually devide the picture on two poles; the bad and dark one and the good one which is bright... BUt the shape of the cloud doesn't prommisse that the good is allways just good... does it?

Prachtige nachtfoto van de woestijn. Dit is echt een prachtig beeld. De wolken zien er mooi uit. Jammer dat het niet waaide op deze avond bij de zandduinen van de woestijn.
Als dit wel het geval is lijkt het me een prachtige foto, het op stuivende zand! Ik vraag me alleen af wat die zwarte blokken op de achtergrond zijn, stenen?

Hugo,
You have so many beautiful images in your collection, I don't even know where to start! This is one of my favorites though :-). The title was alittle shocking, because I thought that was clouds in the sky and I wasn't expecting the beauty to come from such a negative source. However, the interesting sky and sand really come together to form a nice image and you did a great job capturing it!
