B&W well chosen: It's not the colours, that matter here!
By the way: You're doing a good job with photography
of young children. Ever considered a family album of
your niece's family in B&W or duotone? Could turn out
to be(come) an interesting historical document(ary)
in 10 years' time! I've witnessed wonderful examples.

Nice shot. The cloth around the baby's head softens the feel and creates a gentle mood in conjunction with the child's expression. Don't know why, but somehow B&W just seems the right choice here. Well done.
