a simple case of misdirected animosity
is all it took
for the world to come crashing down
and for everyone to look at each other
with suspicion in their eyes.

and on a time line...this decade, the last hundred years is nothing. not even a grain of sand.

what is this pettiness we cling to? trivialities that tear our souls from one another.
pit us against eachother like dogs. for a scrap of meat.

a simple case of misdirected animosity
is all it took

so they say....

Burak Tanriover   {K:16604} 2/26/2004
beautiful perspective,i like it.

Hayri CALISKAN   {K:16203} 2/26/2004
Very nice composed.
Regards, Hayri.

Telmo Domingues   {K:9639} 2/26/2004
Powerful in tones, crop and composition... It takes a long time to apreciate this picture... Somehow I feel 3D emotions(?!) looking at it! I like it!...

lavendu ...   {K:4882} 2/26/2004
a weired scene! what is the child doing next?
a very impressing, well composed shot.

Richard Thornton   {K:26442} 2/26/2004
The intrigue is in the relationship between the two figures.

Makes me think.

Dammit.

Bradley Prue   {K:30312} 2/26/2004
This photo to me, is a study in aggitation vs. patience. They will hopefully both learn from one another.

Ricardo Villagran   {K:1901} 2/26/2004
I envy you Sandy... you not only take photographs, you really create new things and that is not so common... regards!

Kees and Carolyn    {K:15193} 2/26/2004
Very eerie. Somehow a frightening scene from looking at the person
standing rigidly in the doorway. The child looks happy?, but what happens
next. Somehow the yellows, distance, and kocked over chair make it look
pretty grim. This photo will probably stick with me through the night!
Excellent capture!
Carolyn

That chair causes more trouble, I save get rid of the chair, I've never like orange much anyway! Let's blame the chair! Interesting series, thanks for the email!

Hugo Pierre   {K:15692} 2/26/2004

THE REBIRTH OF COOL
I love this series of yours.......
I just love the colors and that hallway so much.
your friend there is spooky today
What film do you use, if I may ask?

Alan Armanini   {K:5407} 2/26/2004
Great Shot, Beautiful Compostition,
Your work is incredible!!!

In Transit   {K:29432} 2/26/2004
This viewer places 'animosity' in the same light as 'jealousy' 'envy' and 'hate trade', all being descriptive words that should be stricken from one's mind!

If I may suggest, it is a young child expressing 'anger', which is sometimes understandable, but may be altered with a hug, and affection.

Let this capture represent a temporary passing... that will be replaced with respect and affection.

LaMaro Hall   {K:3395} 2/26/2004
Once again, I am lost for words. Well scripted photo Sandy. Congrats....

D W   {K:2560} 2/27/2004
Really great shot Sandy. Is this from a documentary? Anyway, It's a bit green. I think it needs a little colour balance work and that's it.

Monty Emken (Ostracon X)   {K:4804} 2/27/2004
Nicely caught! I remember your first couple of these. Good to see the continuation. Nicely stated as well. It's the smallest explosion that can cause the biggest fire.

Pedro Libório   {K:53861} 2/27/2004

John Hatziemmanouil   {K:40580} 2/28/2004
Very nice composition. Are the child collage? If it is, I say that because of some pixels at the head that does not looks perfect BUT BUT BUT!!! If it is collage my congratulations because the lighting on the child LOOKS PERFECT with the lighting of the building! That element is very difficult one! BRAVO!

Jan Symank   {K:15755} 2/29/2004
Very interesting moment !
The orange chair is a good accent for these pictures
Like a movie scene, very dynamic
Bravo and regards from Jan

Sandy,

your croping works well, the colors are brilliant and I really like the Prominent focal point.
