A nice collection of textures well composed but it needs more saturation. If you use photoshop add another layer and change the blend mode to multiply. The difference will be better exposure and colours. Regards John

Mike, I use layers and different blending modes to bring out the full exposure and colours in my images. I have done a quick application to you image. What do you think? Regards John

John, thanks so much. it looks different but I feel that it might be a little too dark for this one (it might because I use a LCD screen). But I definitely like tones of all your pictures. Are there a web site teach how to use those blending modes? I definitely want to learn it because many times i found my pics are over-exposed.

Mike, I use a CRT monitor for my desk top and my Laptop TFT screen has much more contrast, too much for working on photographs. Send me your email address and I will send you some links to PS tutorial sites. My email is john.r.lamb@xtra.co.nz.
Basically if your image is a little underexposed just duplicate the layer in PS and change the blend mode to Multiply. Conversly if you have a little too much density just duplicate the layer but this time change the blend mode to screen. This will have the effect of lightening up the image by about a stop. The power of Photoshop is the ability to work in Layers, Curves & Levels.
Regards John
