Beautiful wildlife photo. The lighting and exposure are excellent. It looks like they have pretty sharp claws.

How cute! Excellent photo! They (Kees says prairie dogs?) really
stand out against that snow! Excellent detail and DOF. I can see every
little hair on their bodies. Fantastic capture. How'd you get so close
to the little rascals?
Carolyn

Hi Dan, excellent capture; I like the highly detailed fur, and the Depth of Field brings them out nicely. What focal lenght did you use? The attentiveness and alertness of these creatures is very well captured, as is the composition. A nice diagonal line... Great shot, my compliments!

Cheers,

Hugo

A great image,Dan....nice and sharp....and the composition is wonderful....thanks for the info about a dirty sensor....I don't think that's what mine is though...I've only had the camera two days and havn't taken the lens off once....do you think it could still be that? Can compact flash cards go bad and cause that?Anyway thanks for the heads up on the changing of lenses...I'll remember that.

Barry Walthall   {K:5380} 2/28/2004
Dan....I just did a couple of tests...shot a piece of white paper at a pretty fast shutter speed....no black spots...another long exposure of the same paper produced the spots...guess it's grain....I shot both at iso 100...should this happen?

Antonio Osorio   {K:2308} 2/29/2004
