One of my earlier attempts at macro fossil photography. I'd like to try this again at a smaller aperture, longer shutter, and a better lens. However, I noted that the Nikon5700 doesn't do too bad a job at a standard macro shot. DOF needs a little work here, but I like the shot and hope you do to. Makes me think of what some of those oceans were like 300+ million years ago?
