This is a fantastic shot - technicaly I'd expect no less from you - it's almost translucent - I wonder what it would look like with very gentle lighting from behind.

To me it looks more yellow... or transparent-yellow... but perhaps you mean that the name is "greenfly"? Well, I don't have a clue what the name would be, I've never seen something like this before. And this photo is superb... really fantastic! So interesting, original, and very detailed!

This is excellent and so clear for such a small insect I have just bought an extention tube for my macro lense so I hope to be able to get some good close up shots now. Well done it is a fantastic picture and thanks for all your welcomed comments

Great Macro....I would be interested in knowing how you are getting this close with the Canon S50. I cant seem to get these results with mine. Perhaps I just need more practice.
