Yes....just looked at the original...I definetely like the one with the omni used. Give it more 'punch', so to speak! Amazing how sometimes an 'effect' can really make the photograph pop! However, your photograph was awesome to begin with!

ps...usually I don't like the horizon in the middle of the photograph, but in this one, it is perfectly fine! (for me, that is) :)
