Beautiful gentle work. Excellent digital manipulation.

Jeanette Hägglund   {K:59778} 3/4/2004
Hello Geza, I have to say that this photo is not manipulated in Photoshop. It?s a "old time" sandwich made in the darkroom by setting two negative together.

King Chicken   {K:1481} 3/4/2004
exlent merge photo! i see there was two photo enhancement programs dun for this one!!! i like it to be darker, as in the blacks more satin look,, :)

Zyle II   {K:1535} 3/4/2004
excellent work!!

Mr. Arrey   {K:11516} 3/4/2004
I don?t know if this is a multi exposure of just a reflection of light. But I like it. The composition is nice and I like the contrast.

B:)liana    {K:30945} 3/4/2004
wow. beautiful composite. love her tender expression ;-) great tonality !

I don't understand how you faded out from her hair with a sandwich, you must've prepared the negative somehow. Or do you mean that it is a double exposure on the paper with the dodging? It is a very sensitive treatment of these two images any which way it was accomplished.

Jeanette ,

Original and Very Beautiful! Your portfolio is Excellent...

When I started we were all still putting Negatives together. I think you?ve inspired me to go back into my darkroom and work with it. Your work is original and amazing.
Thnaks for the nice comments.

Roy

Jeanette Hägglund   {K:59778} 3/4/2004
Thankyou everyone for all your commnets!!!
Stefan, you guessed correct - there is "type" of sandwich or rather look like one. But the technique is to double exposure the paper and dodge (a lot). Lot of work, but very
exciting.

Ben Goossens   {K:488} 3/7/2004
Very good.
Well done, Janette.
regards, ben

Refreshingly beautiful image. It is good to see that film photographers can do in the darkroom things that we naturally assume are digital manipulations. Your work here is superb! BTW - thanks for looking and commenting on my image.

Regards - Bill

I am impressed, that it is analog made in darkroom. It's a "real" photography.
Great. I like it.
regards Piotr
P.S. I am still analog;)

Amit Chakravarty   {K:2577} 4/29/2004

Jeanette Hägglund   {K:59778} 5/26/2005
Hi Tore! Thanks for your comment :) I just want to say it?s not a digital work, it?s a "real" darkroom work. Pherhaps not so big different, but at least when speaking about time!!!! :)

Jeanette

Tore Bully   {K:1290} 5/27/2005
Sorry, sorry, sorry...
I think that digital darkroom or real darkroom is not important.
Only result is important and this is, for me, very, very good.

Digital Kiss, tore

Giulio Rotelli   {K:28375} 2/8/2006
