Oh My Goodness! This is so beautiful Chris!! I really like this image a lot, love your composition and the colors. His eye has a nice 'catchlight' but the branches show no indication of flash burnout or brightness...maybe it's just from the open sky, but it's sharp, could be you added it, I would if there were no catchlights. (sorry, I'm 'rambling on the keyboard while thinking and looking at your image.) I don't mind the little bit of sun on the bird's right side by his beak.
All this, just to say, I think it's great, I love it!
