actually it seems "funny". studio set, woman pouring a drink, unnatural evniroment but overall a very natural pose and familiarity. I like the red dress, red background, red drink, red hair (golden red) and how the mingle all four together. The white skin and black shirt balance very well the dominance of red. I've the other similiar photo as well but it lack space, it seem rather stuffy.

I liked the shot except that the fold shadows in the background are unfortunately disturbing. If the background were a true flat red surface it would siloet her in color properly and she would punch forward more due to her pail skin and your lighting.

Nope, nope, I like the folds and shadows! Love the different shades of deep red--hair, background, skirt), and the contrast with the black shirt and light skin color. No fancy cropping or angle of shooting, but I tend to like basic images. My only complaint is that the left arm and neck are virtually white; a bit too harsh.

Beautiful realisation of the whole, but the skin seems a little bit to pale for me. Love the passion red background ;-)

Well it seems I am disagreed with which is fine, all are just opinions here and should be taken that way. please don't take my coments harshly for I really do like your vision and the products of it. I was just trying to help with some constructive critism. How else can we grow and have our vision evolve. I have sent along a retouched version of your photo with the shadows I spoke of removed to graphicly display my point and show you I don't just talk out of my @ss. Maybe somewhere down the road it might help and if not you then maybe someone who reads this. I don't know I just know there were few people to help me when I got started and I have found it to be a personal responsibility to try and help others not have to learn everything the hard way. All I can do is do my best, like anyone. sorry for rambling on so. I guess I was just hurt by Lucia's coment without validation of her opinion. There is enough back slaping that goes on hear would it be more productive to be more honest with an intelegent flare?

Ohh A heated debate, Thank's for all the words guys! Darren, I am flattered that you took the time to make modifications to my picture, I actually agree with you. I am not a fan of the folds, but I also am a bit of a purist, For me, photoshop is for readjusting colors, not for adding or removing. (But like I said, that is just me, I know others feel differently)
