About Looking down on the winding road to Martindale gave a new depth persepective, the road winding over the hill, apparently to the white house in the next valley, the fells folding in one layer upon another and finally the snow capped peaks of the larger, central fells behind.

Excellent composition, love the tonal range and the road snaking its way over the hills. Just a hint of blue haze, which could be removed to really make the image zing !!

Also the bottom left dark triangle is a little disturbing, but I realise that to get the road you also get the shadow.
