Hallo Eddie! I like a lot here the position of the boat! The angle that it have! A very good composition. It is pity that this site cannot support very nicely the panoramic shape photos. Anyway, even on this size the quality of the photo looks at its best!

Eddie, I follow up your comment on my street panorama and what do I find? A panorama! This one looks really great. Our sunsets in Japan are usually pretty tame--eggshell blue skies with an occasional feathery cloud is about it. This one is dramatic! My own instinct would have been to get closer to that boat, which is leaning at an interesting angle, and use it to emphasize the depth by putting it in the foreground... with so much width in a panorama you really need something that anchors the foreground and frames the more distant view. Although there are exceptions, as with everything in photography! [grin] If you haven't noticed my article on panoramas on Usefilm, you might enjoy it. I'm obsessed with them... By the way, the lens in my main panorama camera is the equivalent of a 25mm lens for normal (film, not digital) SLRs. So yes, pretty wide. I sometimes trim picture taken with my 21mm lens to the panorama format, but I find the spatial distortion at the edges of the image gets a bit disturbing. 25mm or the equivalent is a good compromise.
