Very nice picture, living in the mid west and never being to NY....well it's nice to see shots of places I have never been. I like the slightly soft focus on the front rocks and the fine focus on the wall of the arch. Very even balance of light. Great Capture Regards Lee Harris

Paul,
Who'd have thought one can have such a view in the middle of Manhattan? Nice work.

Hi Paul,
This is a beautiful image of that arch! I have photographed this one many times, but never was able to bring out the texture and hues in the stone and moss like this. Maybe it was the bright sunlight I was fighting.
BTW, there are almost 40 beautiful bridges and arches in Central Park. They are built from either quaried stone or cast iron. This one is the smallest of them all, therefore one of my favorites. Also, it's secluded location in "The Ramble" section of the park is truly special.
Thanks, this brings back great memories - I hope to visit NYC again soon, and I'll try this one again :-)
Best regards, SteveR

If the title hadn't of told me where it was, I would've thought it was from some medieval structure. Very Nice.
