About I have recently discovered the mesmerising work of Christopher Burkett and wanted to try and reproduce some of the same inner light that he captures in his sometimes quite abstract landscapes. Early on a frosty winter morning the low, soft sun has produced a pleasing glow in the dying corn leaves that contrasts with the blue shadows and the sparkle of frost on the whithered husks. Although no Christopher Burkett it goes some way towards capturing that inner glow.

You did well with you objective Barry, I took some photos of a frozen cornfield last year but not like this. Must look out for the chance again, which is coming sooner than we might like to think! Lovely light and impression of a pleasant cold in this shot.
