Hallo my friend! What can do the sunlighting! Here, in a so crey and dark background, the trees and the ground generaly looks so bright and vivid! Beautiful high contrast!

Well, Jan... What more can I add..... A very dramatic light, and almost perfect lighting. Very unnatural and powerful scene with a tremendously strong atmosphere.... The birches are IMHO just a wee bit too bright, but the contrast against the omnious clouds is bloody prefect. Beautiful; the lightning-struck tree with it's upside down brances adds a very desolated and unwelcoming mood. Outstanding shot, my compliments. Can it get any better than this?

So strange, but very interesting and beautiful trees! Looks almost like if the trees are lightnings in thunderstorm! Frightening mood, and same time so peaceful. It's probably because of the mix of dark sky and some sunlight. Really interesting and beautiful composition!
