Interesting perspective Derek. I think perhaps there is maybe too much darkness in the top left corner. There are a few white specs on the image as well, but that would be from the scan. Other than that, the black and white has turned out great! Not too light and not too dark. Only another three and half months before I can see it for myself!

Derek I do like the use of the pillars as natural framing and the view and the details are also good. It perhaps has a little too much dark and might benefit from straightening the converging verticals had a quick play - see if you like the result

Thanks for all your comments Margaret, really liked what you did with the image, looks much better!
This shot was taken ages ago with a not so good lens, and now that I own a better camera I'll remember your comments when I come across it again... because is a place I definetly what to shot again
