Lovely composition and tones. Very moody.

Luis you have brought a lot of things together here and yet a very uncomplicated composition. You have a real skill In composing shots I think.
Watch for the compression rates in these photos.

luis pereira   {K:18357} 3/30/2004
Thank you for your comment. How do you keep track of compression rates. Appreciate the help.

Ian McIntosh   {K:38813} 3/30/2004
I don't know where the problem is happening Luis (it's not a biggie on this particular photo but I found it distracting on "light on the rocks" which is a beautiful composition I think).
One advantage your finepix has over my canon a80 is you can get the photos "raw" off your camera.
Are you editing with any particular programme and saving? It may be at the saving point that the programme offers compression rates.
Another step where it may be happening may be as you transfer to usefilm. Are you getting the image down to their desired pixel dimensions before you send? If you are'nt you may be risking compression there. I'm sorry but I don't know. Do the picture qualities change at all when you upload?

Thank you Ian. It could be that the problem is with all the stuff you mention. I usualy get the image from camera into ps and then when i post it (not all the time) its not what i expect and of course i abuse the ps.Hope to see you around.Thank you.

A beautiful image, somewhat like a painting. The small scaling of the person and the moon really work well here. The lines created by the pathway break up the dark foreground nicely. Well composed.

I like your portfolio so very much... this is brilliant..

gorgeous photograph - I love the way the path reflects a similar shape in the clouds. There's a real feeling of space and solitude.

Luis, this image is perfect in so many ways. It has a grace to it that truely feels out of this world. Perfect title.

Regards,
megan

I just love the lines here. Tones are magnificent.
The simplicity makes it so beautiful.
