Hi Lori, A very appealing and intriguing shot. I'm wondering wether the warehouse in the lower right corner is an addition or a disturbance. On one hand, it forms a nice contrast with the erratic silhouettes, the past versus the present, the signs of trade and the connection between shore and sea.... On the other hand, I think it is also a bit distracting from the entangled lines and the composition. It brings a duality of subjects to this shot. The same applies to the pedestal on the right. Again I'm not sure it is an addition.... Then again, both items also make this shot as intriguing as it is, and I like to see that in a shot. It makes the viewer wonder. Basically, that is also why I find these shots more of a challange for both photographer as well as viewer than florals. Well done, and thanks for sharing.... I'll have to ponder over this one for a while...

This is very impressive photo Lori. The clarity at the statue, at the hairs is very good and somehow on this focal length (!!!) the clarity ALSO at the boat's ropes looks in good clarity! Even in this pretty dark photo, no noise or other problems. Now about the subject is really fantastic and very original. The result is very good for me. Easy 7! Bye!

This one would make a great "Lines" shot. All the different lines is what caught my attention in the thumbnail. Excellent eye for an unusual shot.

VERY well seen...
as for "editing the bug" out...ohhhh...ya hit a nerve there. I do not do photo shop or anything like that (see my current profile pic---that is an exception---for fun) The bug stays! and I lament.....
