Not a big fan of frames, but if I were to frame this I think I would try something darker. I like how elements of his face come into view as they cross the focus plane of your very narrow dof. Colors are beautiful too.

I like the whole thing. I think your depth of field just makes this shot! Nice angle and I personally like the frame. It is not so typical like the others..

Hi Tim, The "usual" natural style is there, but I think the colours are both a bit too soft and too yellow. The composition is very good, and so is the depth of field. I would've liked to see a bit more of Robins' eyes, because I think it would make the photo more confronting, thus stronger and more appealing. Quite difficult to capture without loosing the natural atmophere. In retrospect to your other portraits, I think B&W has a bit more tension, than colours, but the consistent high quality of "Intimate portraits" is astonishing. Very good work!

Very close shot took some sharpness away... To bad because you caught wonderful expresion and angle of shot!
