Same here.... Very good shot, Lori! A bit small, but the violets do jump through my screen. I like (always do...) the vivid and saturated colours. How's the Optio? Heard some bad things about the optio series, mainly concerning limitations.

Normally I wouldnt like the way the light falls off in the left corner but I think it works in this image. Yellow and blue , are great together

Hi Hugo,
Actually, the Optio has been far better than I'd expected. It is limited as far as doing the settings that I like to do with the Canon G2, but I carry it in my purse for those times that come up when I find myself thinking "I wish I had a camera...." As was the case when I saw this flower in Old Town, a tourist spot in San Diego! I had resized the image for Emailing, so yes, it was VERY small. Forgot about that as I uploaded it. :)

I missed you to, good to see your excellent pictures again. This is another delightful macro. I love the colors, especially the combination of purple and yellow.
