About Red Windmill in March, when snow just melted away. Hopefully spring comes quick now, but we can never rely on spring weather in Sweden. In April one day can be that a t-shirt is enough, but next day it can actually be snowing!

Beautiful photo, Kristina, but I'd clone out the grafitti-covered bench.

Kristina Kohut   {K:49990} 3/26/2004
Thanks Paul! Yeah, I have mixed feelings about the grafitti. I have taken photos without the bench too, but there is grafitti even on the door and on right side of it. Hopefully it will be taken away, and I might go back here in summer and then the trees and grass will have nicer colours too.

Hugo Pierre   {K:15692} 3/26/2004

wonderful.magnificent.

Peter Domotor   {K:1854} 3/27/2004
Hi Kristina,

colorful and nice shot, composition is okay, but it would better maybe without the tree on the right side, with open air before the wind-boards.
All this only my personal view, the shot is perfect anyway.

regards
durmi

Very wwell composed architectural-landscape image. You can feel the clean and crips air (obviously no air pollution) great colors and excellent DOF.
A very nice presentation.

Antonio Trincone   {K:23167} 3/27/2004
wonderful windmill, like the saturated colors as seen here Kristina, congratulations

Roland Sköldblom   {K:357} 3/27/2004

Emgy Massidda   {K:60226} 3/27/2004
Beautiful and very characteristic windmill, Kristina. I like it and I particular like the angle tha allowed you to enclude a beautiful natural framing made by tree branches Gorgeous rich colours. I'm quite amazed by the blue serene sky. Ours is unfortunately still grey almost everyday. Winter seems to be endless this year!
Fantastic capture, Kristina
Hugs- Emgy

Emanuele Calvagno   {K:14353} 3/27/2004
great view....fantastic windmill and blu sky. Great frame with branches....

Graham Mulrooney   {K:16868} 3/27/2004
Lovely colours Kris in a beautifully composed image full of interest. very tall windmill does it work as all those trees must take some of its wind. I think the bench looks good but without the grafitti. Maybe a nice natural wood finish from PS.
Regards
Graham.
PS thanks for your comments Kris as I cannot post via an email. I'd like to feed my squirrels lead that would control them. They're American grey squirrels not like your red ones which are almost extinct here now.

Orazio Minnella   {K:48355} 3/27/2004

Günter Koth   {K:13841} 3/27/2004
Magnificent image. Beautiful colors and nice details. Great clarity.

Hugo de Wolf   {K:185017} 3/27/2004
Hi Kristina, I like the natural framing by the trees The contrast between the grafitti and the historical windmill adds a good controversy. I only think the builings behind the treeline in the back are a bit disturbing. Good shot, though. Very well exposed, and I'm a sucker for saturated colours. Well done!

Cheers,

Hugo

Chris Spracklen   {K:32552} 3/27/2004
Very nice shot, Kriss!
The colour of the windmill compliments the rest of the picture beautifully.
It's a pity about the grafitti, but that's the world we live in I'm afraid! Some people just have to mess things up for everybody else, 'leaving their mark' on the landscape by spoiling it with words!
Thanks for this little glimpse of Sweden.
Kind regards, Chris

Hayri CALISKAN   {K:16203} 3/28/2004

Richard Thornton   {K:26442} 3/30/2004
Well, enjoy the nice weather while you can. The vivid colors are very attractive in this image. You have used natural framing to concentrate interest on your subject. Grafitti in Sweden? I am disillusioned!

Kristina,

This is a postcard image. The detail and depth-of-field is excellent.

I was stationed in Europe for five years. Unforunately, I never took the time to visit your beautiful country. How I regret it now.

Thanks for your comments.
