About Dan Lightner Photography
Another in my shadow series. I crazy glued the nuts together so I would not have to restack them everytime I changed their position.

Barry Walthall   {K:5412} 3/27/2004
Another great idea,Dan...did you get them all stacked on the first try?

Barry Walthall   {K:5412} 3/27/2004
OK...should have read your comment first about the glue...very smart...I probably would have been knocking them all down at least a dozen times.

Lori Stitt   {K:74437} 3/27/2004
This is GREAT!!! The shading of tones is sooo good! How clever you are to think up these things! Such an imagination!! Did you do this when Usefilm was down and we were all lost with so much time? :)
Good job...great composition!!

Lori :)

ps are you also the one who (jokingly) said he glued the poor little frog's feet to a leaf? LOL I don't remember who that was!! :)

Sunset Man   {K:11684} 3/27/2004
You better stay out of the park(s) this time of the year Dan ... because I heard squirrels were gathering them also ... LOL!

Not really my kind of subject matter but I have to give you credit on this one for originality!

Thanks for sharing and Best of Regards!

Hi Dan, a very creative series. This one maybe a bit more static, especially while using glue, it must have been possible to create an eyecatcher (an odd bolt, different size, or something to break the perfected geometrical pattern) I think it would make the photo even more appealing than it already is. I like the texture of the suface, a nice touch with this lighting. Good shot, my compliments. Hope there's more to come.

Cheers,

Hugo

Super lighting Dan. Great idea for the still and shadow play. Man, it plays tricks with my eyes too with the illusion. Excellent.
