Wow! What a BEAUTIFUL shot! I'm located just South of Fort Frances btw. Thank you for your comment, im just starting out as a photographer, and any advice is a blessing for me! Maybe one day i will be able to capture something on film as beautifuly as you do! ( I Hope!)

You really were able to capture this detail in a perfect way. I love these soft colors, the sharpness and the charming gloss. Not much people is carrying a magnifying glass to see the inside of an Iris. So you are showing a botanical part of your beauty and I am sure with this excellent shot you are encouraging many photographers to try it the same successful way. My compliments.

Great shot Bill, certainly deserving of more attention than I see it has gotten. Very interesting composition. Unique in a crowded category. Beautiful tones, and softness yet nice details and texture.
The lighting is also perfect, making picture come alive, and seeming to invite one in to the world of the flower.......Randy
