About Georgia "Gym Dogs" took first place overall during the SEC Championship with outstanding performances like this one. I was a bit surprised as the other photographers there were shooting with either a Canon 10D or Nikon D100 - I was the only one there with a Canon 1D.

You are definitely getting better at with these vault shots. This one is superb. I love the angle of the shot. It makes the photo much more interesting as this is not a normal angle you would watch a vault from.

P.S. If you are ever in Michigan let me know. I would love to have to come to my gym and take some photographs.

Excellent sharp stop action shot! I'm guessing you had to use existing lighting and were not able to hang up a strobe. Which makes this even better.
