About This is dedicated to Carl Fisher, a man that I worked with for years; who loved life. He is "skimming" the impurities off the top of a crucible of molten bronze, in this shot. He took great pride in his work. He worked hard, played hard, and recently went down hard. He's having a cold one somewhere, hopefully looking down on us in his easygoing, affable way. I miss him dearly. Quite a bit of PS (dry brush layers)..which Carl would never have understood.

I don't usually like too much PS artwork, but this has just the right feel. The lighting is what really makes it, and I would imagine that the original is just as dramatic too.

Good work.

Hey Bradley, Nice work! This image seems made for the PS you chose. These warm colors and the lighting bring it alive and convey a lot of depth.
Excellent commemorative to your old friend, I'm sure his skills and example of living life will serve you well. ..........Randy
