This is a photo of the part of the lower hull of a poorly-maintained (but therefore more photogenic) power boat. The strakes, or "folds" in the hull run along the length of the lower part of the hull. I boosted saturation and shifted the hue just a bit towards more blue in PS Elements 2.0
