About As with others lately, I am updating my portfolio with higher-quality scans. I've uploaded a version of this previously but this one is a much higher-quality scan made from my new film-scanner. Thanks for looking.

Daniel, that definitely qualifies for the "Deep Blue" category. Very beautiful.

Daniel, first let me say that the colors in this pic are gorgeous! The rocks, being so dark, contrast perfectly against the water. I feel that the balance of the photo is wrong, though. Perhaps if you cropped (quite heavily) the top or bottom, the whole picture would have a better sense of perspective. I think it suffers from being "too balanced"; the rocks are so strong that they ARE the subject of the photo, therefore they need to be taken away from the dead-center of the scene. Or maybe I'm nutz. Best regards, Brad

WOnderful colors. I read with interest Bradley's comments about perspective. I thought about his remarks for a few moments, but on second and third thought, I think the composition is good the way it is. The rocks actually sit in the top half of the frame. The balance here is interesting.
