Nice capture Amna. I really like the contrast between the sky and the outline of the people, with the orange sky and the black silhouettes. The overall lighting is just about perfect. Excellent composition, seems like each individual can tell a different story. I like how they are grouped together yet each seem to be alone. Love the mood, makes me want to join them to see what they are looking at and to know what the story is....
I think you could crop some of the top but not too much. Also, I have noticed a lot of digital noise in the sky. This happens with digital cameras especially in these low light situations, or when your pushing the ISO. It can also happen when scanning in photos as well. A good software program to get is "Neat Image" and it can get rid of the noise and really enhance your photo. It will make your photos from your 300D even better than they already are.. excellent work!

Ooh such wonderful capture with so perfect silhouettes and great orange tones! I'm reading Paul's comment about grain, but on my screen there is no grain, the sky look very soft and smooth.
The mood is really interesting... I get a feeling that something bad or sad has just happened. Like that an animal died or something. Because the left man is turned away, like if he can't take more, while the two middle men looks down and one has taken hit hat off... and the right guy is just coming to see what has happened.
I might be totally wrong, but this was the feeling it gave me. Still it's nice mood at same time, because it's people together, obviously sharing something, even if it's good or bad.
I'm really curious, did you see what was going on?
