fine tuning

when thoughts linger

if it weren't for the kid

sunday , later that afternoon

the wig

not as blind as you wish

what should and what should never be

the walk

no

its just a flesh wound..these heal...its the deep ones that don't...

I'm often stunned by the imagination of photographers here. You've made something I could never think of as a photographic subject into a photographic subject. THe muted tones are superb and there's a special 'soft but perfectly sharp' something about it which I can't quite put my finger on. I like it very much, well done.

Murat Tanriover   {K:8387} 4/10/2004
Outstanding composition Sandy. Beautiful tones. I really like this one a lot.

Awesome title, Sandy! This is one of those photos that I can't quite put my finger on....I love the minimal use of color, and once again, looks like you're hangin out where your mom told you NOT to go! ...Brad

My dad (Jim Pegg, the artist)would said, "the ideas must all be in the eye before they are carried out with the brush." Sandy, I think that you have the artist eye, nice shot!!!

All my best, James

eli  cash   {K:-143} 4/14/2004
great idea, did you set up the shot?

sandy c. hopkins   {K:17107} 4/14/2004
thank! and actually i must give credit to someone else. i found this in an abandoned building downtown detroit.

wish i knew who it was. perhaps someone that squatted there. thanks again
:)

Jocelyne A   {K:1971} 4/15/2004
Wow, I really really like the color (or lack of it), the composition, and the sharpness of this photo. The darkened areas around the corners make it seem like this is a still from a film; Something just happened or something will happen and this is the end or the beginning of something big. I can't explain it, but this shot has definitely encouraged me to think. Thanks for sharing it!

Roy Vanover   {K:13762} 4/16/2004
