I like the apparent absolute simplicity which gets more complex the longer you look at it.

Lavendu, yes we are lucky to live in New Zealand, but its still very possible to make mediocre pictures here, as an evening at any photo club would show you. It is the eye of photographer that creates the image, not the landscape he is photographing.

Hi John,I really enjoy the simplicity 0f the view you have chosen for this landscape,the concentration on the contours and textures of cultivated hills makes a strong image,I think you have gone overboard a bit with the colour of the sky,but it may have a bit weak without the strong colour,dont know!
