Fantastic depth and clarity. You have really captured the age of the structure. The shrubs are superb. A beautiful capture and perfect composition ..Christine

Superb composition. I kept looking at your photo wondering what it would be like if the 'path' were to be at the centre of the frame. Possibly predictable. The off centre 'patch' and the balanced building just lifts the composition. Some humble thoughts

Where do you find all these wonderful places, Chris? This looks so lovely! Great composition, colours and mood!

Roger Williams   {K:83282} 4/11/2004
You get such excellent results with that camera, Chris, in terms of colour rendition, sharpness, and general image quality, but the lens does sometimes let you down with barrel distortion at the WA end and pin-cushion distortion at the TL end. I can't help noticing it... That very reluctant "carp" aside, this is another exceptionally beautiful image. I particularly like the compression of perspective in the long path to the house. Do try lens-distortion correction software. It works like magic!

I trust that your Easter services were a blessing for all. Ours were. Biggest congregation of the year so far...

Lou Dina   {K:12194} 4/11/2004

Chris, Excellent use of leading lines (and the three people on the path)in this image to direct the viewer's attention toward the building. This one could have been categorized as a perspective image. Nicely done! Regards, Mike
