You have a really good eye for composition. You like to emphasize the vanishing point. I enjoy your landscapes and street pictures.

Hugo Pierre   {K:15692} 4/12/2004
Great! Outstanding composition! Interesting angle of view with splendid lines and colors. Very well seen and done.
My best regards! Hugo.
Postscriptum: We have two common things: My daughter was born in 1968 and my nonna was born in Lucca.

Quite a remarkable shot.
Beautifully composed and well capured image. The subject could make for some very nice abstract.
Superb lighting, angle and colours. Gorgeous blue sky.
Excellent shot, Walt!

Hi Walt, nice perspective and a good use of colours and contrasts. I like the strip of green in the background. Good shot. IMHO, it could do with a little more tension, though, either by taking the shot at a different angle, less centered or with the inclusion of a "different" subject in the shot (a fence, a plough, or something like that) I think it would break the image a bit, and make it stronger in the process.

Cheers,

Hugo

Rabat Tabar   {K:3948} 4/13/2004
incredible depth of field.

Verena Rentrop   {K:14426} 4/13/2004
very exciting shot and here I think the very centralized motive is well choosen...

like the reflection...

perfect to me...

Cheers,
Verena

Great perspective.
Jeanette

Thanks for your comments on "First day of Spring". I really need to get photoshop so I can play with cropping etc. I think you're right - it would be a stronger image to crop the people on the left. Enough about me...this image is very strong and striking. I love your use of lines and composition. Very nice! Erin

Paola Pandolfini   {K:1122} 4/14/2004

Questa è tua alla grande

Ian Crean   {K:14863} 4/27/2004
Like this a lot Walt, wonderful depth to it. I see Hugo's comment and beg to differ. Sometimes simplicity and repetition work. Here it suggests open space and fresh air.
I've got one very similar coming up soon but without the deep Tuscan colours.
Cheers, Ian

serena previtali   {K:1103} 5/7/2004
grandiosa

Gino  Quattrocchi   {K:39580} 5/18/2004
bella la prospettiva e la profondità..amo il degradare del cielo..bella idea fare un immagine e vederla sopratutto dove di solito nessuna fa caso 7++
complimenti
gino

Roberto Ramires   {K:2420} 6/20/2004
Beautiful perspective!!! Wonderfull

Barry Henshaw   {K:343} 3/16/2005
Good use of wide angle but I find the plastic dominates the landscape too much. Maybe be a higher position would have worked better.
