Hi Hugo! I am moved by this photo..thank you. You have effectively captured your daughters excitement, and enthuseasm towards pleasing her Daddy! You did so in a timeless way; with so many elements to draw the viewers attention to. The infectious smile, the "cute as a button" ensemble, complete with those tiny little sneakers! She looks like a natural, with her hands positioned so nicely on the flute. But what seperates this shot from other similar portraits is the wonderful sepia tone. It adds a nostalgic touch, putting me in that "timeless" zone.
Technically, I think that the photo could have been stronger with a darker, less overexposed background. The lighting on your daughter is appropriate, and the overall effect that this image has on me, far outweighs any slight technical pitfalls. A "Fave" of mine! Congrats to you and your lovely daughter! ...Brad

WOW, Hugo. this is such an adorable capture!! The expression on her face........!!!! Unique!! Her little hands are much too small to play this flute, but I wonder. now she is bigger... does she play any instrument? I have a long history of aking music myself; started playing the clarinet at 6 years old. Later I played the flute (like this one) and the saxophoon.
