About My son Dennis 3? years old, with that look in his eyes that has made me say yes so many times when it actually started with no... ;-)

What do you think, would black and white be better? I normally like b&w more when it's people, but here I like this light given by afternoon sun.

Hallo Cristina. Great portrait rich in lighting! Very good quality!Nice normal excpretion!

Chris Spracklen   {K:32552} 4/12/2004
Nicely composed shot, Kriss.
Looks good in colour but would probably also work well in B&W.
It looks like your son wasn't at all sure that he wanted his photo taken!
Kind regards, Chris

Tommaso Di Falco   {K:23744} 4/12/2004
Kristina,
the photo is beauitiful in both the version.
But this expression is empasized from brown eyes and tones of skin. If I would choice I like so much this in colors.
Thank you very much for your comment to my "Twilight in the Mist in Blue". Much appreciate.
regards,
Tommaso

Robert Currie   {K:3241} 4/12/2004
Kristina, b&w wouldn't do justice to his peachy skin. Please keep it in colour!
(Off the subject, next time you visit the photo booth for self portraits, only keep the first two pictures :)

Antonio Trincone   {K:23167} 4/12/2004
for the first I like the composition which not include all the hat of your son, yes may be in color its ok even without seeing the bw version, coloured eyes and expression is great here, brava Kristina

Hugo Pierre   {K:15692} 4/12/2004
I like this color version (I agree with Teunis Haveman). It's a beautiful and appealing portrait! Delightful composition with great details and excellent colors and lighting.
My best regards! Hugo.

Ciana Worme   {K:6805} 4/12/2004
Very nice photo of your son. I love the expression on his face. I too tend to like portraits in B&W, but in this case, color works well for this one. Congratulations on this fine portrait!!!

Subhash Sen   {K:11460} 4/12/2004
Dazzling photo,lovely child, god bless,cheers,Subhash.

Kristina, lovely shot. I love the way you framed the shot, and the sensitive, natural expression you captured. Beautifully done. Regards, Lou

Stephen Bowden   {K:64540} 4/12/2004
Wonderful portrait Kristina, I don't think B&W would convey the same warmth of expression ?

Kees and Carolyn    {K:15193} 4/12/2004
Darling photo! Such good colors!
Carolyn

Emgy Massidda   {K:60226} 4/12/2004
Very cute little boy you have Kristina!
You captured a wonderful expression on his face and in his eyes, Beautiful brown and intriguing eyes. I can imagine it's not easy for you to say no to him.
The light in this portrait is nice and warm. I like the crop a lot and the toning is beautiful.
I don't think that this would be better in B&W. It's a matter of personal opinion. I generally prefer children portraits in colour
Superb capture, my friend
Best regards - Emgy

Roy Vanover   {K:13432} 4/12/2004

Lori Stitt   {K:74568} 4/12/2004
Hi Kristina,

Love this portrait of your son! HE IS ADORABLE!

I like this coloring very much (no to B&w);...I like his rosy cheeks, pinkish nose and lips..it says 'cold' to me, and he is waring a warm hat. I like this very much!

Nice work,

Lori ;)

Burak Tanriover   {K:16604} 4/12/2004

Gian

Graham Mulrooney   {K:16868} 4/12/2004
Great portrait Kriss and I think much better for colour. Hope you save all your people shots in colour as well as B&W. I always think colour adds another dimension.
I can see by his expression that the world will end if you say no and you will then feel so bad.
Regards,
Graham.

Don Loseke   {K:32503} 4/12/2004
Oh I bet he can charm you out of anything. Great skin tones. Beautiful little boy. Don.

Maja Gligoric   {K:13441} 4/12/2004

Perhaps B&W would be better. But in this way is also great.
Happy Easter!

Geza Farkas   {K:12412} 4/13/2004
I think the colour works fine hire.

Emanuele Calvagno   {K:14353} 4/13/2004
ohh.. beautiful portrait. In this case I preferr color; the colors exalt incarnated of the skin and cheeks rose, but above all the expression of its eyes

B:)liana    {K:30945} 4/13/2004
I love his expression. so beautiful a charmer ;-) I prefer that the photo of the children are in color ;-)
Kiss, Biliana

Massimo Di Maggio   {K:-55858} 4/13/2004
Kriiiiiiiiisssssssss, I'm here again!!!! I'm so happy to be one more time in UF and to see all the beautiful photos posted by my friends, like this one. He is very sweet and he captired me with his brown eyes, I can understand why you say always "yes"; also I think that B&W is better for better, but children are special, you can show them in coloirs, sepia, magenta, cyan, red, prple, green... they are always sweet and lovely!!! This portrait is very good, believe me, btw he's a perfect model (and a very nice rascal!! ;)) ). A great kiss, Max :)

Massimo Di Maggio   {K:-55858} 4/13/2004
"better for better..." means "better for people..."! Too much emotions ;)))

Nedim Muhic   {K:13997} 4/13/2004
Hi Kristina,
black and white would not bi better.
I think as.
This is a beautiful image.
Regards, Nedim.

Jason Diltz   {K:213} 4/15/2004
Hi Kriss.
Beautiful shot and a beautiful boy (takes after Mom I see).
I am also a fan of B&W however with this photo, I think the colors are perfect. Very subdued. And with regard to the comments about the "look in his eyes"....I know that feeling all to well because of my little girls. Great work!

. .   {K:1787} 4/15/2004
perfect portrait! Light and colors are very nice and the cut makes this portrait very intimate. goodbye

Rawabi Al-Nuaimi   {K:15659} 4/17/2004
he's so adorable.. :) i think the colored version is better cuz the lighting is great :)

NN     {K:26787} 4/17/2004
Such an intensive look; great, sharp shot! The colour version might be better to show the BROWN eyes :)

(I adore brown eyes too, therefore I took a man with brown eyes, but nobody of my three children has got brown eyes!!!)

Kristina Kohut   {K:49990} 4/17/2004
Hihi... Elisa, I adore blue eyes and "took" man with that but all kids are brown eyed! :-))

But since I'm interested in photography I have realised that it's not really the eye colour itself that makes eyes beautiful, it's what kind of light is in them. And big pupils are attractive!

Gabriella Carta   {K:22879} 4/24/2004
wonderful portrait and lovely child, good

Ned Ali   {K:11925} 5/20/2004
this a great portrait, Kristina !!
i like the tight crop with the slanted hat .. and of course those little teeth ;)

the light makes this photo SUPERB! i haven't seen the b&w version but i wouldn't like to loose this warmth.

you take great portraits, Kristina.
