About This is the classic view of Wasdale and was taken with my first digital camera, a compact Canon A20, back in March 2002. I haven't seen conditions like it since!

Hi Barry, what a beautiful place Wasdale is, I've seen it in all conditions, but never as like this. You did a great job with the A20 too.

Congrats.

?Como puedo darle un 10?

Dwight Parker   {K:253} 4/12/2004
Very nice...did you use any filters, or was the "haze" normal?

Barry Wakelin   {K:7838} 4/12/2004
Dwight, no filters and no digital manipulation. It was quite early in the morning and it was as misty as it appears here.

Felipe Woichejosky   {K:4766} 4/12/2004
Wonderful, grand mountainscape, congratulations! Best regards, Felipe.

Terrific aerial perspective Barry. You were certainly in the right place at the right time. Regards John

Barry, it must have been a privilege to be there at that moment, and you caught the atmosphere very well. The haze gives it an almost African quality, not bad for the Lake District!
Very strong portfolio. Ian

Such a classic view, but I've never seen it photographed as beautifully as that however often it appears.
